Bosnia jails ex-Islamic State fighter for four years

A Bosnian Muslim who confessed to psychological oppression charges was condemned to four years in jail on Friday for arranging a fear based oppressor gathering and battling for Islamic State (IS) in Syria, a Bosnian court said.

Ibro Cufurovic, from the northwestern town of Velika Kladusa, has been in care since his removal from Syria in April. He had recently been kept for around two years by a Kurdish civilian army in Syria.

The court refered to moderating conditions while clarifying its decision on Cufurovic, who had utilized the name Abu Kasim Albosni during his five years in Syria, where he participated in aggressor exercises close by different Bosnians.

"The litigant conceded he was blameworthy," said Hasija Masovic, the court board's administrator. "When he settled on the choice to leave for Syria, the litigant was just 19".

Masovic said Cufurovic had over and over communicated lament for his activities and had endeavored to come back to Bosnia, as indicated by the guard and witnesses.

Several Bosnian residents are accepted to have left to battle for IS in Syria and Iraq. Numerous outside nationals are currently in confinement camps standing by to be given over to their nations of birthplace.
