I am someone who has always had very visual images come to my mind in a subconscious way. Some call them hallucinations. I call them waking dreams that force me to wake up to a truth I've been suppressing. Most people only see their subconscious at night. Not me. I see my subconscious during the day.
Ouch, that sounds awful. I get night terrors occasionally, which I realize are quite different, but still frightening in the extreme, so I think I can relate.
I pay close attention to them. They usually mean something. I must confess, when I heard that Dan had left, my mind was already prepared. It was a shock, sure, but in a strange way, it confirmed the vision. The timing of my vision, the timing of me staying off, and Dan leaving was pretty bizarre. I'm not saying I predicted it, but it definitely reinforced the fact that my senses were picking up on something "not right".
