They haven't. There has been an ongoing two-sided conflict between the nation of Israel and the Palestinian Territories Guerrilla militia. There have been multiple attempts at peace and the Palestinians continue with their fascism. The Israelis withdrew from Gaza in 2005 and then Hamas took over and started launching rockets later that year.
Also, 20% of the population of Israel are Muslim Arabs and they vote in the Knesset, run for office, use the same hospitals, use the same schools, and do everything that Israelis do
