For those of you who mine Zcash with a Nvidia card, or, specifically, anything that uses the equihash algorithm, there is a new miner that EVERYONE in this space should try. The DSTM's ZCash Cuda miner is a new and more efficient miner when compared to the dated, EWBF 0.3.4b.
EWBF has been in my tool chest ever since I began mining Zcash early on but it's latest version, while still working well, is over a year old without an update. I have switched my rigs over to DSTM.
My test consisted of an 8 GPU mining rig that contained 2 - 1080ti, 2- 1070, 2 - 1060 6gb, 2 - 1060 3gb cards. A very nice assortment to test with.
After running the mining rig for about 30 minutes, observing the hashrate using DSTM resulted in an overall hashrate of 3602 sol/s when compared to just 3455 using EWBF. The cards were all overclocked and the power setting was reduced to -20% for optimal efficiency for sol/watt. Roughly, a 5% improvement. There were no setting changes in the cards in transitioning between mining programs.
Individually, the results were as follows:
1080ti - 702 sol/s vs 667 sol/s
1070 - 425 sol/s vs 455 sol/s
1060 6gb 338 sol/s vs 320 sol/s
1060 3gb 292 sol/s vs 275 sol/s
This was just to show that with all things being equal, the new miner does in fact perform better with no change in your settings from one to the other.
The setup talked about 30 seconds. There are very few command line arguments other than the pool address, your wallet address.workername and you can also specify certain cards to run. The DSTM does have a 2% dev fee which is the same as EWBF and I did not see an option to be able to disable this.

A detailed overview of this miner and the specific breakdown of the mining rig can be found on my youtube channel:

I hope this helps you with improving the profit your miners can make. MORE SOL/s = MORE $/day!
