It seems promising! I think UI needs to be improved. not beautiful yet.
The ui will be worked on a lot better for the website once its launches. Also this isn't everything this is just the start of the development of the site its self so its not going to look amazing.

I can see the #ever since 1500S in the video. It would be clear if you use other hashtags in multiple posts.
Yes there will be a #functions as you can see from the post method there is no post tags or tittles inputs. That will all be handed in the code.

Oh for sure, we wanted to be as open as much as possible about the site features but there is much that in on the back burner which is very secret and we will be the first to have it for sure.

For me it usually resolves around either: what the hell is cryptocurrency and how will it ever make money. The average person can't seem to see the potential... Same as any disruptive technology I guess...

So will this platform only show content that is on here or will it pull in Steemit content also?
Or is it like the forum I tested last week where Steemit will show everything and only the small posts and transactions will show up in Zappl?
Also, does your follower count move to Zappl from Steemit or do you need to build your own?
No content from any of the other steem sites will show only content posted on the zappl app and site will show up. Your followers transfer over from all the apps its all handled on the blockchain level which acts more or less like a user database.

Since I can use my steemit account, my question would be how can I become verified. My friend that got me into steemit told me he was already verified for this

Cool part about it is if you have a steemit account you also have a zappl account. All the current steem blockchain apps share the same user database.
so that means i don't have to register i can login with my steemit username and password?

All we can do if provide the best service and launch possible with the allocated funds we have gotten from the community who helped us fund the project. As for trending well you kinda have to go looking for it. You main feed is only by people you follow, So its more connection based then here in your face.

Very cool! Sorry if this was already covered elsewhere, but will private messages be done on the blockchain or in a central server maintained by zappl?
Maintained db, currently most people are of the same opinion private messaging isn't ready to be handled on the blockchain yet. Some aren't sure it should even be allowed in general since we have an open blockchain that is more about being open and transparent.
Couldn't you have private messages encrypted on the blockchain? Only decrypted when opened by the users?
