How long has Zappl been out, anyway?? I'm guessing not long, but it went live without me noticing, so I'm curious LOL
limits are currently set on purpose to prevent early spam before we get more advanced filtering methods out. Also 5 minutes is pretty competitive with twitter considering you get paid. Watch what happens when bot support begins.
The issue wasn't that I had to wait 5 minutes, though it was hard to convey with the character limit.
I kept getting the error message well after the 5 minute mark. I think it may have been due to my bad internet connection, though I'm not sure.
I did think it was funny that I had to wait to begin with, less from a development point, and more from a realization of how quickly I can get carried away on Twitter LOL
I wouldn't really say that it's competitive just because Twitter doesn't pay for tweets, though. The exposure I get from Twitter is pretty worth it, and trying to get friends on Steemit is like pulling teeth.
I'm looking forward to seeing how Zappl develops though! I rather like the design, and oH MY GOODNESS having a way to buy/sell Steem directly is amazing!
I wish I'd realized it before I cashed out earlier, I would have tested it out 😩
