I kinda disagree, not looking at faults and imperfection is good but submit to love without thinking seems wrong on many levels especially human loves, lives have been wretched because they submitted to love without thinking it through, marriages and relationships has been miserable because of not thinking a wise man once said love is blind but marriage will open your eyes, it better to think things through even in love

Yeah I agree I think most relationships end up wrong because people just jump right in, but please this does not mean you should not date each other but submitting to love without dating is a big mistake I feel @glare
@glare It is true, but in love these is no grantee. You can choose the right person and end up with a divorce. The characters of the people and the circumstances can change many things. So at least we can enjoy the happy moments, even for a short time :)
@hanen I guess, you are right you can choose the "supposedly" right person and still end up with a divorce! But I think, just picking the "right" person is not enough, you have to make a relationship work by working hard at it. You need to put in time, energy, affection, love, care, understanding and a willingness to forgive each other into the relationship to nurture it and to make it blossom! Also, self-care and authentic communication lay the foundation for a robust and nurturing relationship. Now, self-care doesn't mean that you care only for your own self and your own needs and do not give a damn about the other person! Rather, it means that you acknowledge and respect your own needs and in the process you become free and more available to the other person as well. And authentic communication is not about being callous and saying whatever comes to your mind but rather expressing and listening empathically! If you first have a good understanding about your intention in any communication then it becomes easier to have a more compassionate dialogue! Because now you know that your intention is not to say something to make the other person feel hurt or bad about themselves instead it's of a more deeper and compassionate connection. Once you have that clarity then what you say and how you say it changes automatically and it could be very transformative!
