I feel like I have been missing out by not voting. To control the strong urge to upvote all the awesome content I've seen over the past few days, I basically stopped reading posts.
Now I need some reading material.

Yes, it has certainly been hot lately. I live only a few miles from the coast in LA, so it hasn't been nearly as hot here, but still...I've had to run the A/C a lot, too. Actually, it sucked because I had to buy a new A/C unit last week. :(

Lucky you; my vp is permanently under 40 :( I have no idea why, if you say it's minnowsupport draining me, why can't I turn it off? I mean I'm fine that my vote goes to other people; that's what I signed up for, it's just having no control over it is a little depressing...
You'd have to completely delete the minnowsupport rule from SteemVoter for it to stop.

Here is the link to my first (and so far only) Steemit post.
It's a piece that I originally published on fanfiction.net. It's 'Chronicles of Narnia' based, but is set several years before the Narnia adventures (those that happen to the four Pevensie children, that is) begin.
It's a piece that I'm reasonably proud of. I was able to utilise my interest in spirituality/mysticism in writing it (as you can see from the title, it's about a fortune teller.) I'm looking for readers, and I'm interested in feedback/constructive criticism for my work.
