SO, today is indeed my first day here on steemit. My email just got verified i guess.
And this is my first Story on this website. Let me tell you a little bit of how I got here, because I think a lot of you stumbled upon this website because of the same reason:
A SITE THAT CAN REPLACE YOUTUBE
So I have been a HUGE youtube fan since 2010 and have been following so many creators out there, who have inspired me to do the same. Let my creativity out, speak up and share it with the whole world.
I became addicted with watching youtubers and soon realized that this could be me as well. Some girl who inspires so many more people and helps them escape from the world they live in for at least a few minutes a day.
Last year in June 2016 , I finally had the courage to start my own Youtube channel "SarahsCurls" which was called "SarahVida" in the beginning. I honestly was expecting too much I guess.
The first six month went by without anything happening . Only a few thousand views and only 50 cents worth of revenue. And this is definitely not what I've expected at all, haha. (I don't know wether to laugh or cry about it)
AAAAnywhoo, I just hang on to my dream to become someone who inspires and helps people who deal with the same struggle I had to deal with when I was younger. And this is still my main motivation. I want to be heard ! I hope Steemit and Dtube will make it possible for me.
BTW I still do youtube videos, maybe I will be heard soon.
