About 6 years ago, I got into a super manic creative mode after hearing the new Lady Antebellum song Dancing Away With My Heart. I went out and bought an external DVD drive for my MacBook Air, purchased a copy of The Notebook, and proceeded to spend the next 72 hours editing/splicing/OCD-ing to no end, and on no sleep.
The result was the above music video, which is sitting at over 27,000 views on YouTube, and appears as the number 2 organic result on Google when typing in the keywords "dancing away with my heart".
If I die tomorrow and this is my claim to fame, I'll take it lol. This is perfect proof that a mix of good content, and getting in early, is truly what it takes to be visible on the interwebs these days. I did nothing to promote this video - just got it in right as the song was hitting the airways and people were looking for a free way to listen. Ooo and bonus - Ryan Goessling! (Or Rachel McAdams, whichever you prefer). 😏
But honestly, even if no one had ever seen it, I'm still super proud of it, and could watch it over and over and over ...
And to those 3 people who hit the thumbs down button on it, you clearly have no taste. :)
did you ever show this to me? it feels familiar, in a way only country music and scenes from the notebook can make you feel at home <3
Yes it was actually one of the first things I showed you, after you were telling me about something and said, "It was like The Notebook, if the movie had been centered around Ryan Goessling's character with his rebound girl." Then you went onto say how much better of a movie it would've been if it actually would've revolved around that storyline. Then I showed you this. Then you said, "I think we will get along fine". Lol. ;)
lol awww yea now i remember. good thing i have you around to remind my brain of all the fuzzy things:)
