I think these type of ancient ruins which baffle archaeologists are proof that if it wasn't the human populace that built these then it must be a pre modern human civilization. A entirely different race of people who when they died or left, also took their knowledge of the who ,what and why story. It is likely we were not here first and I don't mean in a evolutionary term.
