Why you should start a YouTube Channel for your Business

Having ad space to for your products for free is amazing but even though YouTube can do that for you, it can also do that in a way that feels more like a friend of yours explaining something and less like somebody you don’t know pushing a product.
Building a relationship with the costumer and transforming your lower-order relationship into a higher-order one, providing resources while marketing your content, this is best way to advertise your brand. YouTube gives you the possibility to solve many problems in a single format. The fact that you have the freedom to show almost any content that you choose in a video that your company maid to answer any questions that the client may have, in the way that you want them answered. This also relates to YouTube brand champions, people that represent a certain brand in theirs videos and speak in their own way using the information that the brand supplied them with.

Video content that brands generate is also a way to provide long format content in which client education and consumer-brand relationship or brand relationship takes place. It does a business no good if it cannot educate their clients, it may have the best method or product but if the client doesn’t understand it he will not buy it. And even though a specific business may need to hire or divert human resources to make video content we may still consider YouTube a cost effect way of advertisement because we are reaching an unlimited audience for an unlimited time.
It is also expected of a brand to have a YouTube channel when it reaches a certain level of brand equity. Everyone expects to Nike to have its own channel, so why should your business not have one?
Even though I mentioned a lot of reasons to have a YouTube channel the best reason in my opinion is: the possible costumer wants to watch the content being displayed, this is the cherry on the cake. Most of the YouTube content is directed towards someone and whether you have clicked on a video because it is related to the videos you watch or you searched directly for it, chances are that you will watch it to the end. For this to happen businesses also need to provide quality content in which the overall quality are going to be a representative of the business itself. A home business can’t deliver the same quality as Coca-Cola does it simply does not have the resources to hire an entire film crew, but it can play to other strengths like having a simpler more familiar video. The fact is that YouTube accepts video quality from 8K to 240p. And if a home business generates ten clients from an ad and a big business generates a thousand, percentually it can mean the same growth.
