I'm new to steem, and have no where your subs on YT, but I have a loyal crew of over 5000 subscribers and I plan on doing exactly what you've outline above to bring them over to DTube and Steem :D
I just created a promo video for my YT watchers that will let them know where to find me, and when new Dtube content has been published.
.... slowly but surely.... get'em out of the thieves guild ;>)
