The days of this holiday cannot be known before they happen. Only by the sighting of the new moon starts this 'Moed' (God's day of appointment).
The words Rosh HaShana in this context do not appear in the Torah. They mean head of the year.
This day commemorates the first and only time that the "Trump of ืึฐืืึธื " was used. Yet it will be used at the "Last Trump" one of these years.
Exodus 19
And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.
You will note that the word God is the same for any god 'eloa' or 'elohim'
But the word that is translated Lord is no 'lord' at all but the actual name of the almighty. (seen below clearly written in gold).
The earth will one day quake at the sound of the ืึฐืงึนื ืฉืึนืคึธืจ ืึธืึธืง of God. The dead will be raised. This is our hope.
Happy Rosh HaShana
from the middle of Yom Teruah (which is what it used to be called.)
Thanks for taking the time to read.
all photos were taken by me.
For the next 21 hours, you can observe people celebrating Yom Teruah live via this link, which is a live web cam in Jerusalem. The celebration will terminate with the "last trump" around 21 hours from this post.

Thank you! I feel it's a very beautiful language as well. As a language teacher, I must say it is very brave of you to sing in English, which you did very nicely. I like to vary beats and styles in songs that I play.
If I get some nerve, I may post some songs in Hebrew.
Haha, thanks a lot. Oh you're a language teacher? Great! My main language is French, so it's really difficult for me to sing rightly in English. I'm honored to hear you say that I'm brave for it. :-) I also speak Italian and a bit of German. That's 4 languages, but I would love to learn Hebrew, Russian and Japanese too.
Oh it would be so great to hear a Hebrew song from you! I will follow you to stay tuned. And I hope some day I will see you sing. :D
Cheers from Switzerland my friend!
