RE: 1,500 Words of Triumph: What Influence Has Yoga Had On Your Life?

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, @seareader1! Yes while you may have some physical limitations, yoga is a very expansive practice. I highly recommend at least trying meditation or some breathing practices, as these can change your life.

I have started with some trying some meditation, I do well when I first start but I have so many thoughts crashing in my head. Need to get better at keeping my mind blank so it can be more fulfilling. Breathing is really great thing. Working on chakras at same time. I always feel so much better after I do.

Yes! Meditation is perpetual improvement. Every session you take strengthens and focuses the mind.
For me, stilling & calming the mind is great - but it will never really be blank. The brain is always processing inputs. I find a key to be giving it something positive & helpful to focus on, rather than allowing those crashing thoughts to take over. The breath is a great focus and focusing on it rather than thoughts/feelings always connects me to the present moment & peace!
I hope you continue to feel better and better and fall deeper and deeper in love with your practice! <3

Thank You for your well wishes. I hope to keep improving in my meditation and breathing. See if I can slowly work up to the yoga, or what my body will allow me to do. I will definitely follow you. Great help. <3<3<3. Merry Christmas to you @saramiller
