Good question. I actually posted this from the Instagram like web-app on the Steemit blockchain Steepshot.
It says when you post that you are able to use 20 tags, usually whenever I post with that many it removes every tag and leaves me with my first tag & a #steepshot tag.
However I have seen many other people who do have more than the normal 5 tags.
Then randomly whenever I tried on this post it actually worked.. however I only used 19 tags on this one. so my only advice I can give is start posting on Steepshot and every time you post try to use 19 tags.
Hopefully that wasn’t too confusing.
