I've had this big shot glass party display for years. It's a wooden paddle with 13 sunken holes plunged from it. This houses 12 shot glasses and a big glass cooler for the middle.
I've never used it as it was intended, you know, bunch of pals, cooler filled with ice and a big litre of smooth drinking delight sunken between.

When I stopped drinking I looked at it time and time again, debating whether to throw it away as it always gave me bad #vyb's when I looked at it.
Fortunately, I never did throw it away, it's still there and it gets used for many other purposes, not just the intended. I use the glasses to hold screws etc. when fixing fiddly gadgets, the big cooler glass has been used as a vase, the paddle... umm, pizzas.
The lesson I found in this whole thing was the importance of time and perspectives. Even in the darkest of feelings there can be value pulled forth to carry you onwards in life. Just got to stay the course.

Nearly 12 months on now since the days; I'm living with drinkers, I'm still sober myself, and I'm comfortable around drinkers. The display is still yet to be used as a drinking prop (maybe it'll get the cherry popped this festive season)!

I would have used the shot glasses for baking decorations, lol. M&Ms, sprinkles, chocolate chips, edible Pearls, etc. I like your repurposing also.

Yes! I do like to do that. I can find joy in organizing a junk drawer or bookshelf. Joy might be too strong a word, but definitely satisfaction.

On www.vybrainium.com buddy, it's pretty speedy. I'm a fan of the standard FE personally although it's definitely in need of upgrades. Let me know if you find any posts/comments on your engagement project travels that give feedback for development, getting community feedback is difficult when it comes from so many different avenues 😀

Ah yeah I've been browsing using the vyb front end it's running great. And yeah there's still a lot of features to add, but there's no need to rush, do it slowly but surely. xD
Oh yeah sure dude, looks like today I saw a comment talking about a vyb project, but yeah I forgot the link to that post..lol..but don't worry I'll try to let you know next time, if I find a post/comment that gives feedback for the vyb project.
