Rainbow

Each day I was Blue until I met you

There would be small burs of red, yellow and hue
a grudge of red-a tad of green -the weather hot and yellow
n ice-cream cold
Like a stoke of brush on a canvas
my day -short and precise

And then everything turned pink
every moment a caramel in pink
light as the cotton candy- sweet and fragile
a flick of pink

a year has come to an end
and all i see is white
until you gave me the prism
showing me the rainbow of life
