Where would you like to be in five years? Where do you see yourself?

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I posted here in hive. Was doing a catch-up on the communities I followed, and I came across this contest.

I have been working in the corporate world for significant years and I realized a few years ago that I don't want to spend my working life in a corporate set-up. To give you a brief background, I came from a province or rural area before I went to the city to pursue college. As a kid, I always wanted to see and explore different places. I tagged along with my aunt whenever she visits the city and I fell in love with the vibe, the buildings, and the crowd. Thus, the decision to pursue my studies in the city.

However, the peacefulness and the calmness of the provincial life have me want to go back and spend the rest of my life there. Furthermore, the simplicity of living and the not-so-stressful environment is really enticing. Fresh air and home-cooked meals are my favorites that provincial life has to offer.

So, five years from now, I would really want to be living in a rural area (not particularly in my hometown). I see myself living in a beautiful tiny house with a big garden where I can plant vegetables, flowers, and fruit-bearing trees. I don’t see myself working in the corporate world but working at my own company doing the things that I love.

Traveling is and will always be one of my favorite things to do. So basically, I will still be exploring beautiful places, trying their cuisine, learning about their culture, and taking photographs of the memories I will have in that place.

By the way, I am also taking my masters in business administration right now. I will be graduating in about a year, hopefully, I can apply what I learned from this degree in my business five years from now.
