Without the heart, the mind is useless

LOVE

What is it to you?

Is it compassion?
Is it caring?
Is it sharing?

Do you instantly think of external Love - to a being of opposite sex? We could, with justified reason, add "instinctively" to that previous phrase: "Do you instinctively and instantly think of love as external? I wouldn't judge you, or be the one to judge. Most humans have this tendency to desire satisfaction of the animalistic needs. Egoistic feelings wants gets mixed up in the equation somehow, and suddenly it's more common to see violence on television, than to see a romantic movie - which is anyway fictional, and therefore imeasurable to real life situations and emotions.

What if Love is a source of energy, and We could All share that energy?
Can you imagine how powerful that would be?
What if Love was abundant, and available to sentient beings?
Can you imagine how things would look?

New Age gurus might claim it's all mind, but know that;

without the heart - the mind is useless.

Asking the questions only you can have the satisfying answer. Love is both in the heart and mind. However, know that there is no such thing as equal love that's why it's immeasurable.

If you love poetry, you might want to check out @d-pend's blog about a poem challenge https://steemit.com/steemitschool/@d-pend/announcing-the-steemit-school-poetry-100-day-challenge

Hi @leeart

Thank you for the hint on the poem challenge. I do take interest in poetry from time to time. The only thing is that I have an issue with the word "try", which appears in poeTRY.

Trying leaves (mental) room for failure. I tend to do what it is in my power, to avoid that possible outcome of any given scenario.

Agreed, love is both present in the heart and in the mind, a space for the ego and a space for the self to feel love. It is when we combine these to in a divine symbiosis, that we unlock the Chambers of Truth and speak with intuition, from the gut, in flow.

All in my humble opinion, of course.
