One sided love

This is a writing by me to pour my heart on how one sided love can be.

Still the happiest moment of my life,
The day I met you.
My love was rekindled,
My hope brought to life,
My desire fulfilled,
It was just like a fairly tale,
And sadly,
Not all fairly tales, have a happy ending.
I cherished you like an only treasure,
Adores you like a king,
Your love was all I ever wished for,
But still,
my every move remained unnoticed by you.
I was not good enough for you,
Never the one your heart is missing.
A broken piece from a large cup,
Worthless of your desire.
I felt alone,
And it hurts.
I kept striving not to rekindle the lost feelings.
It hurts more and more.
Now I found myself in the middle of nowhere,
Chasing shadows.
Waiting for something that is never meant to be.
My heart was broken,
And you seem to be nowhere.
