Nowadays when smartphone is introduced to all it has been seen that people are always keep busy with their phone. You can say that they do a lot with that little device but that little device could be so much problematic if it reaches as kind of addiction. Many people are usually infected with Nomophobia disease (panic without having a mobile phone). Needless to take phone calls, message or network checking, to be online all the time. It is also a kind of addiction. There are various reasons for this.

For example: If a person lives with isolation (loneliness) with his family and friends, if he thinks there is no one in his life, if there is fear of losing someone or something in the mind, sometimes excessively filing anxiety or panic (anxiety panic).

Here are some of the effects of smartphone addiction:

Virtual Relation:

It can be a social networking addiction. Due to the relation between dating apps, texting, messaging etc., real relationships can be virtual relationships.

Online compilation:

  • Gaming,
  • gambling,
  • stock trading,
  • online shopping etc. can be addictions.

Information overload:

  • Web surfing more than usual,
  • watching video,
  • going to Google more,
  • searching for unnecessary things, and so on.

Which turns from real hobby to virtual hobby, which is also alarming! And its results are dangerous!

Due to the overwhelming use of smartphones, our real world loneliness and depression can increase. -
Anxiety,

  • oradnice,
  • stress ,
  • concurrent ability and creativity loss,
  • sleep disruption,
  • various types of self-observations,
  • negative personality,
  • self-centeredness,
  • restlessness,
  • excessive anger,
  • irritability,
  • lack of attention,
  • nervous system problem etc.

Now how to fix this problem:

  • Actually be social, protect socialization. Because people are just social creatures.
  • Increase the force of mind.
  • Increase true friends.
  • If you have any drug addiction history before, treat it.
  • Always stay with the family.
  • Take a look at the small hobbies of yours.
  • Take counseling, Behavioral therapies.
  • Try to be especially the children's role models to others.
  • Make phone free zone.
  • Encourage others to do good work.
  • Meet and talk with the baby a lot with happiness.

You may have frustration, sadness, disappointment. This is part of life. So instead of removing it, no one else is desirous to be sunk in the dark. Remember that any addiction is needed only excuse, not even addiction. Live your life well and ensure the health of the family.

I hope these few steps will be helpful for you guys to control the mobile phone addiction of yours or someone you know. Best wishes for you guys. Thanks

Yes. you are right. I don't know how can we free from the curse of smartphone addiction. But you could fixed the problem. It will be very helpful for all.

I just try to say some point but it actually depends on that person. If he wants to give it up,then only it matters. thanks for the feedback.

Well said. Really it is very personal.

This type of communication reduces a lot of connections.
Now people use mobile phone and not talking to people that are closed to them.

that is true. we are so much depended on the technology which is not that good either.

Smartphone Addiction, like any Addiction, is a very serious problem that tends to isolate the individual, creates antisocial behavior, and comes complete with its' own form of withdrawals.
It is an extension of Addiction to watching Television Programming and, studies have shown, withdrawal from these sort of things carries withdrawals far worse than Addiction to substances like Heroine.

What struck me about your post was that you included 'increasing force of mind,' which to me means building willpower, it means building discipline, self-determination, and self-empowerment.
It means getting out to meet people, to talk to friends and family, to be more social in a face-to-face setting, to go out and learn how to do things beyond the digital scope.

Making 'phone free zones' is a good start, but including things like Meditation or Prayer, getting outside to ride a bike, walk in the woods or parks, playing with our children, reading books actually made of paper, with printed word.

To place the digital sphere into its' proper context, we should become less attached to our online activities and maintain a focus within the here and now, as most Addictions begin as a method of escaping the present moment, thus, never having to face reality.

Smartphones, Computers, Television, these all have their uses and, in proper context, are okay to use; they can be a great benefit if we use them properly as the tools they were meant to be rather than allowing them to use us and dominate our lives.

It really is a matter of changing our perspective, of changing the way we approach things and put them to work FOR us to help us learn things in conjunction with books and courses at local colleges and universities or even trade schools.

Some people say that replacing one addiction with another is not the answer, I agree, but changing our habits is the first step to breaking addiction.
So we can turn to learning, to improving ourselves, and seeing how we can utilize the digital sphere to this end; how can we use social networking to improve our knowledge and interaction in the Physical World?
Learning proper exercises, learning how to fix things or build/create things, learning being the key word, but we must have the determination to apply all these things rather than checking our Social Media Feeds every five minutes we could do a set of exercises or work on a project.

We should likely also include focus training, such as meditation and mental exercises in this.

Thank you for sharing.
