INTRODUCTION :

anytime that we do something terrible or inappropriate, we feel bad about it it. That is a fact, yet there is more behind it than just the feeling we get afterward, it is our reaction and interpretation to the situation that we got ourselves in. To clarify, feelings do are not that durable and we could not control them successfully anyway, that is why we should focus more on our reactions and attitudes more because they are with us every time and we should deal with them somehow.

So, by analyzing a little bit this brief introduction, it could lead us to two conclusions:
Indeed there are two perspectives from which we could see our state and it is up to each one of us to choose the one he feels more satisfied with according to his own way of interpreting facts and from his own perspective.

FIRST HYPOTHESIS :

Regret is an advantage, considering how acknowledged and powerful we become after understanding the cause that lead us to make an act no matter what it is. In fact, when we do a flashback to watch ourselves dealing with some issues or acting in many ways regarding different situations, we classify that view of us and make it a weapon to use in the coming situations because we take benefit from each act that we had done and turn it into an advantage of ours.
That is why, it is wise to regret our previous acts in order to have better attitudes in the future while dealing with new situations or some that are similar to what we had experienced in the past.

Thus, we would never feel ashamed about regret, since it is a good thing to start with in order to aim for perfection in the future.

SECOND HYPOTHESIS :

When we look deep at ourselves in the past and follow carefully and step by step the way we react in some critical situations for example, we would always feel something odd about it, which is that there would always be a reason behind our acts and no matter how much times we return to the past and live in the same circumstances and under the same conditions we would never react differently. This could lead us to the conclusion that we do not have to regret our acts but to understand it and try to be more careful in the future regarding our decision making or the way we behave toward others or even the way we interpret a situation not to screw it up in the future.
