I have 3 months into internships, on the foundation of the child, In Venezuela doing journalism is no so easy like many say, is more like George Orwell said it “Journalism is printing that someone else does not want printed. Everything else is public relations” and doing that in a country in dictatorship is so hard. Days ago i did news about politics, and i wrote “deceased president Chavez”
"To see what is in front of one's nose needs a constant struggle"- Georege Orwell
-Never in your life, don’t say that again, you look a journalist of an opposition media- Said my boss.
- Okay, i got it, i will not that mistakes again – Just said that, and let him make his Word, and just kept doing my job in there… But in my mind i was thinking “What the hell he has said?”, “Chavez is dead, and we are live, is a universal truth”
Working in an institutions of the state is considered – I considers- advocacy of crime, tells everyone that all is okay, that nothing bad is happen, “we are living in wonderland, everything is fine here” That stinks so much.
You know… It’s so hard that the people that still believing in this communist trash, keep saying “my eternal commander” like if he was alive. They can’t accept that Chavez is dead, and the socialism is destroying what we have in this new Cuba.
The reason why he decides to do internships is because they had asked me, they wanted someone responsible and they trusted me, besides... having experience in the work field is no sod bad. – Yes, why don’t that?- I thought, I just... I hope not regret it.
Sometime i think that Owell would not proud of us, after all, we are losing the war, and Maduro and his criminals club are winning that game of thrones. If we don’t get out of here, we die, if we don’t fight, we die, if we stay here, we die.
NOT ENJOY IT! :(
