RE: BuzzSteem Ep 12 [Dmania, Post Dropping, Heartfelt Blogs and More!]

YT can take down your channel any time they want, besides, you spent time creating something so there is no reason to not try and sell it at a later date. If a painter has his works hanging in a gallery, is that a reason to not sell it to a paying customer?

I mean, I guess that's true, but also very different. Art is somewhat timeless, compared to say, blogs about cryptocurrency from 2012. I suppose it depends on what content you are putting out. Cheetah wouldn't exist if Steemit wanted you to repost from a previous source, but bear in mind that Cheetah can also only identify verbage, as opposed to video or pictures. I think even a mix of both is just fine, but as I posted to @spacetimebadass, I don't really think it's cool to just plan to use Steemit to copy and paste a year's worth of old blogs. I think that's pretty lame. And I realize some may disagree, but that's my stance on it.

Absolutely! I post both, some previously uploaded to YT, but also DTube exclusives. I have zero objections to you posting some of your old videos, both because they are timeless, and the amount of effort that went into making them. I guess you are right about time sensitive material from a year ago, there really is no point in posting that.
