Happily Ever After (An Original Poem)

Happily Ever After

There once was a girl

who dreamed of love and

Wished on the stars shining above

That true love kiss would come her way,

She hoped it would come along some day.

Years went by and girl grew older and

Days become colder and colder...

True Love's kiss never came her way,

And she gave up waiting everyday.

It was time for college so off she went,

And met a guy who was quite a gent.

He became her very best friend,

And they could talk for hours and end.

She had fallen in love

Her was heart was up and away

But she couldn't tell him

She just couldn't say.

College ended and they both moved away,

Met different people, but everyday

She thought of him,

And how he smiled and

How her heart was driven wild.

Time kept moving and they kept in touch,

But sometimes being around him is just too much

For her poor heart just wanted him so,

And still he didnt even know.

Then one New years eve as she sat alone,

A message come through to her phone...

"Knock Knock can I please come in"

She went to the door and it was him.

He know how she felt and he felt it too,

And love between them grew and grew.

Finally they had their happily ever after,

Filled with love and glorious laughter.
