Capturing people's attention is such a difficult task, your advise is definitely a practical one, that many people simply fail (guilty here too) to consider before indulging into writing.
It is also further difficult to grab the attention with such growing number of steemians nowadays, and it will be more difficult especially for newer steemians (such as myself).
As you also mentioned, titles play a key role in the post being seen or not, and then it's up to the content to keep the reader entertained.

Cheers @mcfarhat. I think as the Steemit platform grows, there will be new ways of filtering posts. There's a very interesting discussion going on with some of my co- #promo-steem -ers at the moment, about whales and how they curate, which I think we will be trying to get into the open. There's also new things coming in soon as the devs respond to the needs and concerns of the community. Thanks for the comment too.
