It's almost the end of 2020 and so much has happened. On the writing side, I'm excited about having Shelta's Songbook published. And now Falling Through the Weaving is up for pre-order with a pub date of March 3rd, 2021!
I'm releasing my fantasy and sci-fi books under the pen name Leia Talon, and have been working on Falling Through the Weaving and the overarching universe of The World Tree Chronicles for seven years. What a ride!

Even with so much focus on my writing, I haven't forgotten to enjoy life.
Here are a few things I do for self-care and pure fun:
- Spend time with my kids.
- Get outside. It's cold, but refreshing!
- Keep up with my yoga practice.
- Watch the Mandalorian.
- Geek out about the upcoming Andor series. (OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!)

My self care has been mostly re-reading The Dresden Files series before I'll allow myself to read his two new (almost back-to-back) releases. Things have been especially hectic the past few months, but I'm hoping to get there soon.
