This is a great write up. I am always nervous that my dialogue doesn’t sound natural to the readers’ ears. Partly because if you write everything the way we actually speak it will drive a reader batty. All the ums and likes and you knows common to modern conversation pass the ear almost unnoticed but when they’re written? Ugh!
