War can never stop if we continue to glorify all the people who participate in it. Most people will probably have a violent reaction to this but.....

Veterans are not heroes. They are merely willing pawns in a game of blood and treasure. Treasure which they will never see. Stop calling these people heroes and start calling them what they are, MERCENARIES. They earn a living defending a lie of freedom and security. They invade foreign lands and kill people they have never met, or have any grievance with, in cold blood. They commit the grossest atrocities in the name of (insert country/ flag/ threat). They come home and are worshiped by the public at large. This has to stop so that less people are willing to join the murderous ranks.

Sorry if that is too blunt but if you look openly at what a war is and why it is conducted you will draw the same conclusion, if you are willing to be honest with yourself.
