you have your own distinctive voice - that's important. People can pick up one of your poems and say this is a Tina Jordan poem.

I'm thinking that you like to tell stories in your poetry. Narrative poems are rare if they're good and yours are. Do you know Margaret Atwood? You remind me of her. You should see what she does in The Journals of Susanna Moodie- You can do that - string together a cycle of poems and tell a story
