"Be Humble - Humility"
Hello Steemians,
How is everyone doing out there on #steemit land today? Today at work we had an incident that didn't go over very well at all. One of my co-workers was sharing something with their friends at work that they found exciting and made them very "Happy". Everything was going well until, and there usually is an "Until" in the world today. So, until, this other co-worker came up and started bragging about their little something. Saying things like, "Why would you buy something so ugly and stupid" or "You must have bought it off the shelf at to $1 store because it looks cheap and ridiculous". Very "Insulting" to begin with on top of very Disrespectful".
Come on. This "Self-Righteousness" and "Conceitedness" of this person was way out of control. On a whole other level. They really made our other co-worker feel bad and a lot of people were very upset and let them know how upset they were. We, as human beings, have "No Right" to make others feel bad ever.
- First of all, it doesn't matter where they bought it or how much it cost. It truly is none of their business.
- Second, they had "No Right" to say the things they did to make someone else in the world feel bad about something that made them happy. They weren't bragging about their item. They were just showing it to some people.
- Third, they had no right to bring someone else's happiness down. Not ever.
- My grandmother always told me. "If you don't have something nice to say. Don't say anything at all"
- Where are your morals and ethics? Come on already.
We need to start respecting each other more. We need to start taking care of each other better. We are all we have and that should be enough to make the world a happier, better more amazing place to live. But then we have people like this one co-worker who wants everyone to know how much his stuff cost, Where he bought it and make themselves seem better than everyone else around them.
"Humility". Learn what it is and just be "Humble" with everyone. Respect each other and their feeling. Respect them because they are a human being like you. Respect their personal stuff. If you don't like it, fine. But keep your opinions to your self if it is going to be something negative.
- Respect each other always.
- Love each other always.
- Be humble. No need to boast and brag.
- Be happy with what you have and let others do the same.
- Do not bring others down in their moments of happiness.
- Be kind to others always.
- Always try to make others happy.
- Keep good "Morals and Ethics" in your heart always.
- If you don't have something good to say. Don't say anything at all. Keep it to yourself.
- Words of "Encouragement" are words of "Empowerment. Always "Empower" others in life.
Let me ask you these two quick question?
Would you prefer to live your life in a world like this?

A life full of color. Excitement. Peace. Happiness. Love. With family and friends and someone to love who will love you back always.
Personally. I would prefer the latter and I have the latter in my life every second of every day. Well, guess what. So do others and we should allow them to have that life and not go around steeping all over their life. Peace and Godspeed everyone. May every journey you take, be a successful one and carry on for generations to come. Always love yourself. Because you deserve it. You are a miracle of life. And if you're going to prosper in anything. Prosper in happiness, peace and, love first. And let everyone else do the same.

I appreciate the fact that you shared with us what happen in your office my brother, my friend, at least for others to learn and value other people opinion. You see, majority of us hardly don't mind our business, and its obvious people with pride always wanna tell you ,they are always at the best in whatever they are doing, while others don't mean anything to them. Humility is deteriorating everyday in our society at large. happy weekend.

Everybody is beginning to think they are better than others and they tend to say it out loud too often. We need to be humble always. Thanks brother, the truth is people like your co-worker will still continue to linger in our everyday lives. We need to make conscious effort to live happy and deliberate reflect it through us. We don't know how powerful and deep words can Pierce, we need to be careful not to kill other with it. Appreciate the best in others and extend love it goes a very long way. There was a suicidal issue in my finances office and I sat thinking of ways it could have been averted and I discovered if someone showed this lady a little more love, a little more attention and a little more care she would still be alive. I appreciate this right up sir. Thanks a lot.

Just saying, if we are kind and considerate of others the world would be so much better. Saying something nice to someone else, even if it is "Hello" "Have a nice day". Exactly, being humble and kind is what keeps a community and society together. Moral and ethics are integral part of what keeps us as human beings and I see very less of that nowadays, people say anything they want to say without fearing the consequences and this creates conflicts. Thanks for sharing this, it gives me a perspective on which direction we as people are going.
