TIPS TO BECOME GREAT WRITERS!!!

in #writing7 years ago

1. Extend the Experience of Writing

Keep writing, as more writing makes more experience. And remember! That experience is the best teacher. Following the writing clinic with the experts. There you can ask about anything related to writing, as well as can increase your motivation.

2. Need an Ideas

An author need idea to be poured into his writing. In my opinion, the idea is like the background of the issue in the thesis. No need to busy looking for it, because it will come by itself, as long as you diligently observe every phenomenon that is around you. If you have got the 'idea', then immediately keep the idea by writing it. Just then write it well in accordance with the results of existing research. Try to write about the issues that are being discussed by the crowd, and offer solutions to the problem with your writing. That way your writing will be more mature. After all, do not people read an article, wanting to know something that they consider important?

3. Need an Angle

Required to write at least one angle (angle of view), so that the reader can be more focus with the existing discussion in your writing. So, the writing is not ambiguous. More interesting if you can combine with writing ideas and out of the box, unusual aliases from the many angle that comes to mind. News is one of the best examples by using an existing angle. Therefore, you need a guide like 5 W + 1 H, which consists of: What, Who, Where, when, Why, and How. In this way, the writing will be more focused and do not ambiguous.

4. Choose a title and Lead

My lecturer called it, "The first impression is so tempting, then it's up to you". And the tempting thing in an article is the title, or the book is on the cover. As for leads there are several options that can be selected such as:
  1. Lead Summary, for example like a news story that directly contained the essence of paragraph [3] early, while others only as complementary complementary aliases. Leads like this are usually aimed at readers who do not have much time to read.
  2. Lead Story-telling, for example like a novel or a movie script, which makes readers enjoy it. However, writing like this takes a long time to read it. Leads like this are used successfully to fill free time by reading.
  3. Descriptive Lead 'twins but different' with Lead Story-telling. Examples such as descriptive studies on a study or feature in the newspaper. He does not tell the whole story as Lead Story.
  4. Lead Quote, for example like news celebrities or politics who use the element prominence in the news. Where the element of prominence emphasizes the importance of the words of a character or public figure. Not infrequently these days their quotes are used as headlines and leads of news. And of course there are many more other leads.
If people have been interested in titles and leads, they will often read the paragraphs. Although not infrequently also, many of them are disappointed because the title or a great lead is not sebading with the next content. Tempo Institute calls it 'Title Writer'. [4] Therefore, writing titles and leads is not an easy and trivial matter, if not kept sharpened.

5. Writing Paragraphs by Paragraph

Try to write it in accordance with the existing writing framework. Even if there are additions to new ideas, make sure they are not damaging. Even if damaging, then there must be a change. Whether it's the writing framework or the paragraph itself. Remember! You need to stay focused, and use the connecting words every paragraph well and correctly. No jumping, seeming broken and bizarre, because there is no correlation between one paragraph with another paragraph. For that here needed a carefulness of the author and the number of vocabulary. The only way to add word diction is to read [5].

Last but not least, writing requires an awareness of those who want to produce a brilliant piece of writing. Without awareness to keep practicing, then the tips above will not be of any use. For our consciousness to keep practicing will prevent us from the nagging mischievous errors. Starting from small errors such as typo (misspelled, misspelled, wrong name, title, or incorrect date) up to a fatal mistake like the wrong information we write, resulting in hoaks. Therefore, great authors are those who are willing to correct and evaluate their writing day by day. Not even satisfied quickly and pride themselves. Let's try and keep it short and simple!
