Stars alight high in the sky every night, without fail. Announcing the harsh reality: another day is over and I'm still here, not knowing where she is. Heaven has always fascinated me: its sky blue, its other changing colors, the drawings made by clouds. Everything up there seems fascinating. Before I met her, I thought heaven was a fabulous place to let my imagination fly, but after Sophia entered my life, the only thing I find in the sky are flutes everywhere.

In the clouds I see her flute. In the birds I listen to her flute. In the sky I see her eyes.

  • Where are you, Sophia? -I ask myself each night before falling asleep.

I still have not been able to find the answer to that question.

One day, Sophia took her suitcase and flute:

  • I'll be back, I promise - was the last thing she said before leaving.

I never saw her again.

Sophia was always a free soul. Her only commitment was with her flute.

  • I want to be as constant as the stars - she told me once - never missing in heaven. I never want to miss my flute.
