Life Is For Living

Here's a short story I wrote after hearing someone say:
"There is no sense putting off the joy of living when life's circumstance presents the opportunity to live"

                             Life Is For Living

One day two friends; a boy and a girl, were walking and the girl turned to the boy and says “Lets go sky diving!”

Startled, the boy said “No way! Are you crazy? We could die!”

The girl replied with “Suit your self...”

A week later the two friends meet up again and the girl asks “lets go deep sea diving!”

The boy again shocked says “No way! We could drown!”

The girl responded again with “Suit your self...”

Two weeks pass and they meet each other again and the girl says “Lets go deep into the amazon!”

The boy appalled replies with a sense of frustation “No way! We could get lost!”

“Suit your self...” Replied the girl once more.

A month passes and they meet up once more and the girl asks “hey lets...” and before she could finish her sentence the boy interrupts annoyed.

“Let me guess, your going to suggest something outrageous and dangerous. Huh?”

The girl pauses, smiles and tells the boy that she had done all the things she mentioned previously without him knowing. This left the boy baffled. And in a nervous and curious manner the boy asks “How could you do all those things without being scared?” The girl replied “That's simple, because life is for living. There is no sense putting off the joy of living when life's circumstance presents the opportunity to live.” The boy, astonished, takes a deep breath and calmly asks “Were to going next?”

Even though I wrote this the moral of the story is still something I/we all need to work on. Some more than others.
Take risks and don't be afraid of failure! Go do what it is YOU want to do!
