Depression is just not a feel, it's like a disease. If not cured on time, it will grow with time, hampering our health and mind at the same time.
Usually what happens is, people feel they are not wanted or loved and so they go into depression in that lack of attention, and what we could do is just not ask how they feel, because obviously they don't feel good but just to let them know that you want them. You want that particular person and their love and attention. It might seem easy and good at one point of time, but it's difficult at the same time to act on it. To make a person wanted you need to tell yourself that yes, I need you. I need you more than anyone could, and I am here to hear you out. Being a good listener doesn't mean just to listen, it means to feel what the person is feeling and to let them know that things will be okay.
We need to point out the little details we know about them, what they are good at, to help them distract and live life again in a better way and in a more positive perspective.
Remembrance and reminding are two different things, which is incomplete without the one. We gotta remind them how important they are and to do that, we need to remember that.
