My name is David Cain. I am the author of the novels Witch and Song of Songs. Don't feel bad if you haven't read them yet. Their audience has been very select. Very select. They're available in the usual places. Read them and enjoy. I like them.
I have written many short stories under the name Lord Malinov. The name derives from one of my persistent characters, a Byronic vampirish sort of poet. There are lots of anthologies devoted to the stories of Lord Malinov. Check them out. They're a total grab bag of subjects and styles. I like to play with narration, structure and poetic prose.
I love to read new writing by new authors and intend to express my thoughts and kind opinions on any writers I encounter. Send me a note; let's discuss the craft.
I read everything by everyone all the time. I run a literary quotes blog elsewhere. I may have to install a companion site here. I take quotes, chosen for style, from my reading. I have amassed a huge library of literary wordplay.
Anyway, greetings and such. I love the Steemit environ and hope to find a new writing home here. I take photographs too, but mostly for my own amusement. I keep slideshows of my photographic work playing while I write. Keeps me focused.
