So guys here we go. Something about me that you may not know. Back in my High School and Tertiary years I used to write a lot of poetry. And to be honest it was not even hard for me to do, it just came to me naturally. Funny though because my early days of high school were riddled with hip-hop and rapping. Me and my friends used to go around battling and rapping.
I remember how I started too. My step dad had written a love letter to my mom and it was that time that I had the thought to start writing poetry. So as life went on and my love for poetry developed more and more I began writing less "hip-hop" lyrics and started writing poetry more.
I guess I've always been a fan of self expression. So then this passion developed even stronger as I parted ways with my high school friends and I was more on my own at University. That's when I became more friends with the pen. There were seldom opportunities to wrap now and all I had gotten more comfortable with poetry.
From there the rest is history. Although I don't write as often as I used to, I'm talking months and months now without writing, I still have the passion. So starting from tomorrow I will be giving you guys a taste of what was going on in my head during my years of high school and university. You know with all the relationships, stresses and life that go with it.
So I hope you are ready for the journey guys.
So before the crypto years and online business yes I was just dude studying psychology with prospects of becoming a clinical psychologist. Cryptocurrency came and changed all that. Psychology degree came in handy though and it helps me get in touch with my inner thoughts and well being, and understanding people in general. But it gives me a pleasure to share one of my hidden passions with you guys, my friends.
Maybe as we continue on this journey you will join me in sharing your passions and really enjoying what you like here on Steemit. I will mix it up from time to time. It won't be poetry only, there'll be some variations to my posts.
So that is what coming in the next few posts my friends. Today I sort of wanted to give you a bit of history of where I started with Poetry and my love for it.
