To be a Mnemonist or not to be?

Yesterday i was reading a very interesting artical from an old New York post by Reed Johnson. The artical was about Solomon Shereshevsky or Mr.S ho had the perfect mind of a mnemonist.

Many thoughts came up on my mind...
The memory of Mr.S had no distinct limits. He had the ability to remember an old speech word by word, he could memorized complex mathematical formulas, poems in forein languages and al that with an average score in intelligence tests.

Mr. S had an active imagination that helped him and used a mnemonic technique called Number Shape System.
But despite his astounding ability to remember each detail his mind sometimes was in confusion. He couldn't recognize faces, he produced unnecessary and distracting images and fellings and he couldn't read.

Thoughts thoughts thoughts in my mind...
How hummanity will be if we could remember each moment of our life..... Its move, its word that we told or heard. Our intellingent level would be defently much higer and we would living in a deferent world, but what about the emotional level?
Mr. S had the ability to forget whatever he wanted, but not like any other person. He could forget with a blink in his eyes.
And then comes the second question...
How hummanity will be if we couldn't forget or bury bad memories?
I believe that as the intelegent level raising up the sentimental sensitivity decreases. I don't say that mnemonic people have no feelings, but from personal experience i learned that when you have an unswear to everythink, you becoming a tough person. Maybe i am wrong, maybe i am right, but those two different questions are connected.
Should the positive answears will have disastrous consequences or not for our society??
