The truth?
I don't care as much about the comic deaths, but my character Robert has died in various ways, but his love, Cherine, refuses to let him stay dead.
I guess his life only reflects how I would like my life to be...and be...and be...
Otherwise, I have been a comic fan from very young and still remember my favourites, like Captain Marvel (Shazam)...never liked his little green worm enemy, I found it stupid, but I loved the entire family - hmm, that slim beautiful Mary Marvel, I guess I could develop a thing for her...aghhh, better say bye.
:)
Isn't that, in a way, similar to the recurring resurrection-death cycle in the comics? What is it about Robert that Cherine constantly hangs on to? There's so many things to be mined from the pathos surrounding the whole thing.
