My perfect lazy day is of a winter's night, summer nights are too hot and uncomfortable. I love rainy and stormy weather too, it is very relaxing and storms are a great shared interest of my wife and I. However, on a winter's night, one can be bundled up and be cuddled up next to a loved one. That is the first real requirement, the first real condition. Following such a specific time of year, comes an open variety of additions.
I enjoy watching movies, playing video games, or reading books. A silence would fill the air drowning out anything other than the specific thing I have chosen to do during that day. It typically is one or two activities but bundled up no matter the activity. Of course, there will be moments and parts of the day where one must get up and deal with life. Such is life, food must be prepared. A nice warm plate of rice and meats, or a chili, or even a warm soup of tomato and basil or a nice potato.
There was on a few occasions where I found myself laying in bed all day with headphones on listening to music or audiobooks while thinking and contemplating a solution to situations that needed a bit of a different look to solve. I commonly use lazy days for days of thought and reflection with my phone nearby to quickly take notes and thoughts. In an everchanging world of increasingly complex and simplified solutions to seemingly every world's problem, it is vastly important to know ways to get your mind to think differently and outside the box. Even simple mobile games for an iPhone have a set of problems onto themselves that will need a production of a solution that requires a vast amount of information, thoughts, and reflection.
