RE: The Slacker's Guide to the Great Remission: Introduction

in #writing7 years ago

I also live in a very trendy, career-oriented area (commuting distance to Washington DC) and I feel like there's something in the air here...like the peer pressure or corporate ladder pressure has somehow become airborne...but that's not an excuse.

I'm going to set up a 5 year plan to get out of corporate and live the lifestyle we want. We already have chickens, and orchard, an 1100 sq ft vegetable garden and are only solar panels away from off-grid. We'll spend the next 5 years setting up a farm business so we can leave our corporate jobs.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but also glad you found peace. I do enjoy your reading and I'll continue to follow up with you.

Please read my manuscript in its entirety. There will be some rough spots you may not like and certainly won't agree with. Again, I wrote this to make people think, not to change them. It try to add a bit of humor here and there. We'll just have to see how much reaction (if any) there is.

Thank you for commenting. I do love replying. lol

Here's a little hint. Don't upvote your own comments. Check out this Steemit website Apparently curators look at this and if you upvote yourself too much they won't touch you.

I didn't know that!!! Thank you!! I'm still learning the steem-universe!
