Wow I'm glad we had the same experience :) It's an absolute must for everyone who is in Thailand. That's what I thought at first, so I preferred to stay over night and had a day and a half, since I already had to go back to the airport BKK in the afternoon. It doesn't matter, I think you got to see the most important things anyway? :)
Yes, I saw a lot :) but still there is a reason to go back there :)
