After unconvincing performance in group stage, Argentina now has eliminated from World Cup after defeated by France, 3-4.
Mbappe is the key to exploiting poor Argentina defence with his speed, and sends Albiceleste home. Messi failed again, in 4 times World Cup. He's never be a new Maradona for his country. Just waiting an announcement of Messi's international retirement, for second times!
France go to quarter final, and just waiting the winner between Uruguay v Portugal.

People argue that football is a start sport. Messi proved that even if you are the best player in the world if you don't have a supporting cast, you can't put a whole nation on your back and win a WorldCup. He will retire from the national team. But if he will like how the national will look in 4 years I think he will give it another shot at the infamous title.
I agree. It's better for Argentina to build national team again if Messi retired. I think it's unfair for Messi, but Argentina looks like obsessed "a Maradona Story" in Messi, for years.
