Images are processed in special programs, in which they are, among other things, added colors. The title, which resembles the Van Gogh images, was processed by citizen-scientists Gerald Eistad and Sean Doran on the basis of the raw data of the Jounock instrument on the aircraft. The colors on it are not entirely faithful.
For example, the summits of Jupiter's clouds to the observer who would float above them would not look blue. However, processing allows you to see the contours of Jupiter's atmosphere that are not nearly so clear in many recordings.
"Jupiter is beautiful and special, but if you get too close, it will be your end," wrote British artist Sean Doran, who has been volunteering for some time on NASA's photographs.
He photographed photographs on June 16, 2017, when it was 13,345 km from the cloud, a bit more than the circumference of the Earth.
Unmanned YouTube videos are published on the JunoCam website so that they can be processed by citizens.
Similarly, photographs were taken that captured Kasina in the Saturn system.
A $ 1 billion juno, launched in 2011, and on December 16, completed its tenth tour around Jupiter.
