On Aug. 21, 2017, people across the United States will see the sun disappear behind the moon, turning the day into a total solar eclipse.! the solar eclipse will make its way from Oregon to South Carolina on a 70 mile path give or take. anyone planning on viewing the eclipse should ware protective glasses or if u have a welders lens (like me) will work just fine . i would strongly advise never to look at the sun or an eclipse without protection this will cause severe damage or even blindness !!
Because of this special day the solar eclipse is said to knock 70 mega watts per minute of electricity translating into 6000 mw during the time of the solar eclipse, Thats enough power to supply a large city !
Well for me this is a very special day , Hopefully it will be for you to ..... leave comments on what you think about the subject !
Thanks!
ECLIPSE STARTS AT 09:06 a.m. IN Madras, OR AND ENDS AT Columbia, SC 04:06 p.m. AUG 21, 2017

I'll be somewhere south of St Louis, MO with a group from Massachusetts. It will be my 5th eclipse trip, and hopefully my 4th successful one.
