RE: When Should Dems Polling Under 2% Get Out?

in #world5 years ago (edited)

I find it interesting how in this video, you're asking the question that is essentially;

"when will these small individuals polling under 2% get out of the way of the larger identities that are at +5%, +10%, +15% of the vote, and cede their share of the vote?"

While in a video not long ago, the premise was;

"Independent political media channels are important and being railroaded -- despite only have 1~2% of viewer-shares. New, horrible policies enacted by Youtube are squeezing out the little guys, in favor of the larger organizations that already have 10~20~30% of viewer-share, and it's unjust and unhealthy for the ecosystem".

Is there not a place or a valid reason for everyone to stay in the race? Similar to how independent media channels may have something special to contribute -- these (currently) low-polling individuals may have value to contribute to the discourse?

EDIT:

I wrote the comment above after only having watched the first 30~45 seconds of the video. Silly me. You made some good points throughout the course of the clip. Cheers!
