There are many places in Ukraine that are worth your attention. For the tourist and the traveler, Ukrainian spaces give a lot of adventures. I invite you to find out about those places that will surprise you.
1.Oleshkovsky sands
Europe's largest desert is in Ukraine. 200 hectares of hot sandy sea, surrounded by shores of forests. This miracle of nature once was a green steppe, which eventually turned into a desert. The desert consists of 7 so-called arenas, among which there are lakes and trees. Surprisingly, in the middle of a sand mass at a depth of 300-400 meters there is a fresh underground lake. Sometimes you can see even small tornadoes here. In the summer, the sand is heated to 75 degrees Celsius.
2.Dniester Canyon
It is the largest in Ukraine and one of the largest canyons in Europe. On its territory you can see about hundreds of monuments of living and inanimate nature of world significance. These are 200-year-old oak forests, waterfalls, caves, rocky temples and fortress ruins ... Incredibly, the stone banks of the Dniester Canyon, which sometimes rise to a height of 250 m, still make up the remnants of the Paleozoic era - the time of appearance on the ground of the first trees and vertebrates animals.
3.Chornogora
The highest ridge of the Ukrainian Carpathians, which combines six peaks over 2000 meters (Hoverla, Petros, Ribas, Gutin-Tomnatyk, Brebenskul and Pip Ivan). Chornogora lies between the Black Tisza and Black Cheremosh (rivers), and its slopes cover the Carpathian virgin forests. Its alpine reliefs with ice shapes form high hills, mountain valleys and mountain lakes, which pearls sparkle between them. Chornohora is a whole natural system, unique and wonderfully beautiful.
4.Uritskie rocks
This is a monument of nature of national importance, which has no analogues in Europe. High-rise rocks (up to 50 m) are just in the middle of the forest (Lviv region). Hard to imagine, but their age is 55 million years old. Erosion rests of massive sandstones as a result of tectonic movements of the earth moved to an almost vertical position, forming an amazing form of rock. Kamienna kingdom, where a year after year, water, wind and sun twisted a whole system of grottoes - mysterious caves and passages.
5.Basalt pillars
Basalt pillars of the Ivano-Dolyna deposit - the creation of an ancient volcano, which operated here 650 million years ago. These stones were formed as a result of selective melting of the ultrabasic substance of the mantle of the Earth. At the time of their "birth" the temperature of the rocks reached 1300 ° C, later the magma froze and on the surface formed striking shapes of pillars. Clear and even polyhedra, located in a series of two hundred meters. The rocky giants reach 30 meters in height.
6.Optimistic cave
It turns out that the longest in the world is a gypsum cave located in the Ternopil region. This is a horizontal maze longer than 240 km. Mirrors of underground lakes and crystal clear crystals and shapes. And also "snow kuchuguri" - a cluster at the bottom of the passage of transparent needle crystals of gypsum, which are called "cave snow". It seems that time has stopped here. After all, the air temperature in an optimistic cave never changes - it does not depend on the change of seasons on the surface.
Nice pictures. I good place to visite.
Thanks, I 'll plan visiting too.
