The Guinness Book of World Records isn’t as traditional and conventional as it seems. It is a highly entertaining book where you may find some really wacky and weird records that will make you continue looking for more. It seems Guinness has compiled every conceivable record ranging from the ordinary to the downright bizarre and qualifies more for a Ripley’s Believe It or Not instead. We have compiled for you 24 of the weirdest Guinness records ever recorded some of which may make you laugh. So check out the wacky list.
1.1) She crushes watermelons with her thighs
Yes, you heard right, that’s Olga Liaschuk for you!! The strong woman from Ukraine who will definitely not be intimidated if someone gets between her thighs because she holds the record for crushing three watermelons in just 14.65 seconds. Imagine what she could do to a man’s head?? At an event held in Mediaset Studio Milan, she broke the world record on 26th June 2014. That is truly what you call thunder thighs, and though she tried attempting the feat of most watermelons crushed with thighs under a minute, she fell short of the existing record.
2.1) Furthest distance to blow a pea
This guy must have been adept at shooting snotty balls in school. Andre Ortolf has, in fact, several records to his name but this one is truly wacky where he blew a pea 7.51 meters during an event in Germany on July 12th, 2014. Andre also holds the record for running the fastest 100 meters wearing ski boots and again in clogs. What weird stuff will they think of next?
3.1) Most straws stuffed in the mouth
Why would anyone want to stuff their mouth with straws?? But that’s a feat evidently which is held by UK’s Simon Elmore who stuffed 400 straws into his mouth holding them for 10 seconds without using his hands. The feat was accomplished at the Mark ‘N’ Simon Show in Solhuben Bavaria, Germany on August 6th, 2009.
4.1) Most gurning world champion wins by a female
Confused by the term gurning? Well, it’s making stupid or grotesque faces!! By now you must have gone WTF!! Apparently, there isn’t just a world championship of making an ass of yourself or gurning; there is also a Guinness world record for winning the title several times and the record is held by Ann Woods who has won the event 27 times since 1977.
