Isalo National Park

Bara tribe treats the site as their sacred place: the burial sites are marked by the stones. The ancient limestone formations date back to the Jurassic period and create a surreal landscape. The park also boasts canyons, forests, palm groves and ire-resistant tapia forests, that can be explored on a backpack tour.
